Soul Project Tour - The Snowy Capital, Archangel Video

The very first city you visit in Tales of the Soul.

Archangel is Arisha's home city and the capital of the protagonist nation, the Kingdom of Rivera. A nation that sees snow all year long. Mythology suggests it's a remnant of a failed attempt at "Ragnarok."

The southern area of the city is pretty empty, and I'm looking for suggestions on what I can add to complete it.

Update: The city is finished~ Now to finish the rest of the game.

Railkune: Amazing! The only thing I could possibly say is add more Icy Vegetation. Other than that, it's marvelous. Oh, maybe a few other villagers or townspeople in this case wouldn't hurt either. Bravo Kit. And I also loved the Tales-like face thing you did there. It was perfect. Great job Kit. I hope to see more of this in the future.

KitMishima: Thanks~ Though this tile set doesn't come with any icy vegetation. This one is a basic "Castle Town Exterior" tile set with a few custom auto-tiles. I could just add the default flowers and such, but that would look kind of weird. Flowers sitting on top of snow without a single flake on them? o_o

Railkune: Actually there are a lot of snow vegetation auto tiles. Try Googling them. I'll look too.

KitMishima: Even if there are, I don't have any empty auto-tile spots left or any I don't want to replace. ._. This is going to take quite a bit of thought.

Railkune: Hmm...well, I will help you on whatever you decide so don't worry :) Besides, that's a really nice map like I said before. Excellent work. Just fill in those empty spots and add some more civilians, and wa-la!

KitMishima: Indeed. I actually added some, like, those tall bush/tree thingies on the corners of road intersections and some street lamps here and there. I'm still clueless about what to put in the southern area. I'm tempted to just make it a huge ass lake and edit the field map to support that. ._. There are actually almost all types of civilians. I just somehow managed to miss them all. And I'm worried about adding more events, though... I have too many in one map as it is.

Railkune: Yea, I understand that lol. Too many events will eventually lag it out. You'll have to show me how you did that Face event thing in the beginning thou o_o That still amazes me lol

KitMishima: 401 events now. ._. It's generally called a Skit~ They're iconic to the Tales series starting from the 3rd release, Tales of Eternia. I'll be glad to show you my way, but I bet you can find a much easier way. I'll PM you with how I do it, okay? :D
