MB: Halk's Hobbies (11.6.2009) Video

Yagu asks Halk about his hobbies. He says he says he likes watching AV (Yes, those AV) when his wife Akane is out. This is similar to a segment in a 2006 episode of YH, where Haruki went on a rant about a site or store he went to, that had "AV Only Sunday" and wondered why it wasn't "AV Everyday". But this time around Halk is married, so when Yagu mentions how she has been going to dinner lately with Akane, Halk ask Yagu not to tell her (his wife). Seeing as Halk openly talked about it on this show, I'm guessing he knows MB has a smaller viewer audience than YH did.

riztar: i love mari but this show is a bit odd to me. the other show that was cancelled has a better set, this one looks kinda cheap. theres like nothing in it .

AlucardsQuest: So you think that this show isn't doing as well as YH? That begs the question, why did they cancel it in the first place. Not to mention that from what we've seen, it's almost exactly the same thing (with the same music) clearly picking up where YH left off. Is it because they wanted to be trendy and have the show's title in English?

SugoiVash: I'm not saying it's not doing well, but I know for sure their not going to have as much exposure to viewers now that their on TV-Toky0, than they had with YH on TV-Asah1. I think Asah1 was cutting back on programming, & even though YH was doing good, they just got caught up in it. The YH staff knew they still had something good, so shopped it around & TV-Toky0 jumped on it.

SugoiVash: You'll get use to it. YH had a cheap looking set for the first 3 years before they updated. and yes Halk does take up most of the budget. Greatness doesn't come cheap.
