Imprint - Trailer #2 Video

In the film IMPRINT, Shayla Stonefeather (Carmelo), a Native American attorney prosecuting a Lakota teen in a controversial murder trial, returns to the reservation to say goodbye to her dying father. After the teen is killed, she hears ghostly voices and sees strange visions that cause her to re-examine beliefs she thought she left behind.

The film stars Tonantzin Carmelo (the mini-series Into the West), Michael Spears (Dances with Wolves, Into the West), Carla-Rae Holland, (Taking Chance, New Amsterdam), Cory Brusseau (Market 175, Hangman), Charlie White Buffalo (Into the West), Dave Bald Eagle (Into the West, Skins), Mark Barnes (Into His Arms), Tokala Clifford (Into the West, Reservation Warparties), Beau Little Sky (Journey Through Rosebud), Scott Means (Wind River, The Last of the Mohicans), and Alec Morgan (One Night Stand).

IMPRINT was written by Keith Davenport and Michael Linn (Into His Arms, Market 175), with Linn also directing. The film has been a film festival favorite, winning Best Film, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress at the 32nd Annual American Indian Film Festival, Best Narrative Feature by the South Dakota Film Festival, and official selection at South By Southwest, Best Feature from the International Cherokee Film Festival, and Best Cinematography at the Hoboken International Film Festival.
