Chapter 119: I Got a Date (2/3) Video

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked.

She was silent. I watched her face, but it didn't reveal anything. My heart fell, and I looked away from her.

"I-I'm sorry. I knew it was too early," I said, looking out the window. "I'm so stupid."

"Yes," she whispered.

"I know I'm dumb," I told her.

"No," she said softly.

"Huh?" I looked back at her.

"You're not stupid, you're sweet. I would love to be your girlgfriend," she said.

My eyes widened, and she giggled. We stood up, and I gave her a tight hug. Demi Lovato, my girlfriend. I liked it

Nick's P.O.V.

I walked around backstage, thinking about Selena. Since the beginning of tour, she's been in my mind. I really, really like her. I need to ask her out, but I get so nervous around her. I was never nervous around Miley. Selena has some kind of power over me, one that I can't explain.

I rounded a corner, my head down, and rammed right into someone. I was able to catch them before they hit the ground. The warm feeling in my hands told me who it was. I looked up and was staring right into Selena's beautiful eyes.

"Sorry," I said. I helped her steady herself, and let go.

"Don't be. I should have been watching as well," she said.

Come on Nick, this is your shot. Just ask her out.

"Um, Selena?" She looked at me. "Do you want to, uh, go out tomorrow? Like on a d-date?"

"Sure," she replied.

"Really," I asked in shock. She giggled.

"No, Nick I just said sure because I think you're creepy. Of course I would like to go on a date with you," she said.

I smiled. We said goodbye, and I practically ran to the bus. I stormed on to find a squealing Nicki hugging a beaming Joe. He and Demi are going out...it was obvious.

"Congrats man," I said.

"How'd you know?" he asked.

"Your smile is a little to big, and Nicole's squealing is a little too girly," I chuckled. He laughed too, but Nicki hit my arm. I gave her bottom a quick smack. "No hitting."

She pouted. I shook my head and delivered my news.

"I have a date with Selena tomorrow!"

Nicki's smile returned, and she hugged me tightly. I pulled her close, happy.

That night, the show was amazing. No technical glitches, no pitch problems, and my glucose levels were perfect. Joe and Demi performed better than any other show so far. Nicole and Kevin were just happy.

Nicki slept with me that night. We were up later, because we once again had to video chat with Adam. He picked out a pair of skinny jeans and a button up shirt. I couldn't wait for tomorrow. Maybe...I could return to the venue with a girlfriend.
