As Ocampo makes the promises to take action before the ed of the year, some Kenyans are still registering their disappointment with his mission, saying he should have met with victims of post election violence. Eldoret Catholic Bishop, Cornelius Korir, says Ocampo missed an opportunity to get a clearer picture by failing to make contact with the victims.

0720PW: International law is a little different from what you are used to in Kenya and that is why you don`t understand what the law is. Ocampo has to go back to the ICC and request by providing reasonably cause to investigate crimes against humanity in Kenya. Thereafter the ICC judge will review his request and authorize investigation. Then Ocampo will comeback to interview victims as he will have to build his case. kamaluddiin: All the ugly things that happened last election were the consequences of Kibaki stealing the election. If there are some people to be tried, Kibaki should be the first. I'm not condoning the killings/burnings of the innocent people that took place in the last election in any way , and those who were behind that massacre must also be tried. But I believe the root cause of the matter can only be addressed first and formost if the big fish Kibaki is tried and sent to jail for life.
