mykol13v: I'd like to add that Obama knows how to pass out free cash, too. No wonder he's popular with the Detriot crowd lined up for miles to get Obama money. We are 12 Trillion dollars in debt and people lined up by the thousands on just a rumor for "Obama Cash" in Detroit.

jtkirkfan2002: Reagan was a former governor and had been in politics for years by 1980. Besides, the founding fathers never intended for people to be career politicians anyway. In any case, Reagan could run rings around President Pin Stripe.

jtkirkfan2002: If you look at the current generic polls, you'll see that isn't going to happen. Republicans currently lead democrats in nearly every generic race and are trusted over Democrats in ALL areas of national interest, (an historical first for one party to dominate over the other in this poll).

obamadidit2008: well then if we REALLY HAVE the right to say how our governments money is spent.....i don't drive. i use public transportation. i don't want MY taxes going to finance suburban, or exurban, or rural highways. i never supported our involvement either in iraq or afghanistan either. i don't want 1 dime of MY MONEY going to defense contractors, and only a small percentage of MY MONEY should only go for pulling ALL of the troops out of there NOW.

jtkirkfan2002: Financing highways is one of the few things the government spends money on that is authorized by the Constitution. I invite you to propose an amendment to change that. Good luck. Same for defense. Welfare and people lining up for "Obama money" are the unconstitutional uses of our tax money. Public transportation is a waste of money. It doesn't work without subsidies. It also is useless for contractors and service companies.

Trying to shut me up with this stupid blather? I've lived in cities over 1,000,000 people most of my life INCLUDING DETROIT. The home I'm in today costs over 1/2 million if Dad were to sell in this depressed market. No Stimulus funds came to my neighborhood.
