JoeNietzsche: I would be inclined to agree on third parties but the problem is that the US electoral system isn't set up to allow third parties to act as functional alternatives. First past the post systems force strategic voting as each election comes down to not just who you're voting for but who you're voting against. Which is, ultimately, how Americans got stuck with a "lesser of two evils" situation. Sad but true. You have my sympathy. Its the same here (canada) so, hell, I have my sympathy too. Heh.
