Falling Over me.. A Love Story [One] Video

'You are going to marry Joseph.'
'Dad I dont want to! '
'Demetria'
'But dad, I dont want to marry him!'
Dad turned around and left me alone again. We have been arguing about this for months. I havent noticed that I was crying. I sat on the couch next to me and Denisse rubbed my back.
'Im sorry Denisse, but I dont want to marry your son.'
'Its okay sweetie 'she said as she rubbed my back. I felt so bad cause I talked crap about his son in front of her, but she seemed as if she didnt care. Paul stood up and followed dad. I stood up and went to the kitchen. I prepared some tea for all of us. Why tea? Well, It calms dad down. How do I know? We fight almost everyday because this stupid reason. I dont want to marry Joseph, and I wont.
This is what happens..
My family and Josephs have been friends since forever. When mom died, their family looked after me and dad. My dad is a businessman; actually, he met Paul at work. They are partners, so me and Joseph know each other since we used diapers. Our parents want us to marry to guarantee their fortunes. Yeah, sounds like another investment, but the thing is that I dont like Joseph. We used to be good friends. He is two years older than me, but he isnt the kind of guy you would fall in love with. He wasnt handsome at all,, actually he was nerdish. I remember when he turner 12, we were at his birthday party and he told me that he was going to marry me. What did I do? I ran away. I didnt even say goodbye to him. He went to study out of the country to a boarding school I dont know where. Right now, he is studying in Europe. How do I know? His parents told me. No, I didnt ask. Dad always told me that I was going to marry Joseph, but it wasnt till College that I believed him. I prepared everything and carried the tea to the other room, where dad was watching football with Paul. I placed everything in the little table next to his seat.
'Im sorry Demi, well talk about it later.' Dad said, well thats what he always says to avoid the subject.
'Thanks dad' I said and kissed his forehead. I was leaving the room when he called me.
'Yes dad?'
'I dont want you to be driving to college, its dangerous at those hours. '
'Then how am I supposed to be on time? '
'I hired a chauffeur, hell take you everywhere starting tomorrow.'
'Chauffeur?! Dad, everyone will think that Im a spoiled brat!'
'I dont care, is for your security.'
'But dad-'
'Look, he helps me out in the company'. He said and stood up. He walked me out of the room.
'Hes a really nice young guy. 'Dad said.
'I dont care dad!'
'Im actually doing you a favor.. 'I was about to protest but then I started to question myself.
'How are you helping me?' I asked suspicious.
'Hes a young good looking guy, Demi. He will be your driver, and Im hoping you wont fall in love with him.'
'Dad, I will never fall in love with a chauffeur. '
'Great. I dont want you getting married with a nobody.' Dad said and then he went back inside with Paul. I sighted and walked to my room. Yes, I live with my dad cause he thinks living with some stranger would be horrible. But I know its not true. I lied on my bed thinking about new arguments to tell my dad about Why I shouldnt marry Joseph. But the only think that was in my mind, were dads words. Hes a good looking guy I dont want you to fall in love with him Am I going to fall in love with him?
