RobertCEvans: Many thanks for posting this work.
Epogdous: Robert welcome back!! =]
RobertCEvans: Thanks so much for your kindness! My surgery went very well and I look forward to many more years of enjoying your videos!
Epogdous: Ah ah ah!! Perfect!!! =D
Anna100l: The most beautiful song of this cantata to listen to in my opinion.
Anna100l: Are you going to upload part 4? The ending is sooo amazing!
Vagabond1951: This is such a marvelous, wrenching setting of the Whitman poem. So appropriate that you posted it on Veterans Day. The passage beginning at 5:26 ("In the Eastern Sky..") always moves me like few pieces of music can. I'm glad you posted the text with the music, by the way, for those unfamiliar with the poem.
Epogdous: What a pleasant coincidence!! I'm honored to contribute to this commemoration even if I'm not american. Thank you for your kind words!
philipvanlidth: Much as I love this section, and it does move me to tears, I still believe that the third section, Reconciliation, is absolutely the most beautiful portion of this cantata with its message of hope.
vkitty9: Thank you so much for posting this beautiful cantata! I had never heard it before now--I'm doing a project on Walt Whitman and music, and these are a great help--and it's so moving and epic. Also, I really appreciate that you posted the words as they're sung. :)
