blauschuh: Have you tried compensating by slightly changing the TPI setting on the ballscrew in emc? I bet it would be dead on after a small tweak due to your error being pretty linear, i.e. 0.004-.006" off every time. I'm having some issues with accuracy on my X axis that I am still wrestling with.
