Roger Miller - River in the Rain Video

One of Roger Miller's most beautiful songs, "River in the Rain" was written for "Big River," a Broadway musical based on "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," by Mark Twain. "Big River" won seven Tony Awards, including one for Roger Miller's score.

netter909: My Grand daughter was in big river this summer and I fell in love the music. I was surprised to find out Roger had written the score for it. I wish he had recorded all the songs and put them on an album. Awesome music!!!!

rockgor: I wish Roger had recorded all the songs too. He did record 5 or 6 of them on an LP record. Don't know if they ever made it to a CD. Great score. The show won lots of awards when it was new and more awards when it was revived about 20 years later on B'dway. Tx 4 posting.
