yourstory08: dimaram, This video were shot in Zinder, Africa. Is this your hometown?

dimaram: Zinder (Niger) is my hometown. I was born there and went to school there until my graduation from Lycee Amadou Kouran Daga. Your video "fueled" my desire to visit Zinder this coming summer.

yourstory08: Yes, I was there! Where are you now? traveled from Niamey to Zinder to vist the Sultan and see where my ancestors were held and sold as slaves.

dimaram: I live in the U.S. now

yourstory08: What do you think we can do to raise awareness about the suffering in ZInder?

dimaram: Zinder's case is not worse that the case of other African regions. Awareness may help, but I happen to believe that action would be more effective in Zinder case. I could email you some info about a project that myself and other fellow "zinderians" living in the U.S and Canada are trying to put together to help.
