phnixlady: My Son has a theory that sellouts are destroying the world, each and every one of them. Sellout is a word I used a lot when young, but did not realize how big the problem was. It encompasses greed, firstly; as well as selfishness; lack of compassion and empathy; ego; lack of ethics and morals; Many things. Lack of self discipline is at the root of many of our problems. Self-discipline is a daily work. Life in society takes work. IMO.
