Aussie50: Nice old condensing unit fan! With a motor like that I'd say its a run cap that it needs. motor looks the same as the one in my 16Kw Alcair. that needed a 5mfd run.

Aussie50: yeah, sorta like an old American updraft unit. I saw a similar one on a Lennox heatpump a while back.

hdyudu: one thay make now in day are metal cage top ones then the ones housed around with the grill on top
