JesperA86: The i7 quadcore one can get up to 3.4ghz, the standard clock for the i7 is 2.8 and then the turbo function boost it to 3.4 if needed, that and hyperthreading will make the i7 iMac really fast ;)

masterb403: The i7 processor is absolutely worth it, it's leaps and bounds beyond the dual cores, and a significant gain over the i5. Buy the extra 4g of ram on a third party website, and save yourself 100+ dollars. Install it yourself, the bottom has a panel that's unscrewed to reveal the ram bays.
