Woodspring Apartment Fire Video

A fire early Saturday morning destroyed 12 units at the Woodspring Apartments in Florence.

Firefighters were called to the complex on Mount Zion Road around 3 a.m.

Two people were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries from the fire. There's no word on the extent of their injuries.

Others were saved from possible injury by neighbors who went door-to-door, in some cases kicking in doors, to alert sleeping residents.

Investigators believe the fire began on the lower level and spread upward, consuming the building.

Five departments were on the scene battling the blaze. Besides the units that were destroyed, 12 others sustained heavy smoke damage.

As you can probably tell i recorded this on my cell phone. This was my apartment building!
