Queen Mary departs London Video

The last remaining turbine steamer Queen Mary (Built 1933) leaves London under tow by tugs Aicirtron, Unico and Horton. She leaves London for La Rochelle in France where she will undergo a 17 month conversion into a a floating hotel, yet still keeping her classic lines.

pswaverley: i used to sail on the queen mary 2 on the clyde. was on her last sailing in 1977. very sad to see her in a poor state,hope all goes well for her journey to france
