Hybrid Musings: Pt. 1 Video

So I tried to upload the full video, but it was too long, so I split it into two parts. So this is part 1 lol.

Alright, this is a sloppy video but I know it had to get out before I sat down and elaborated on a couple of things. The standard 'CAP' vs Cateye [ vertical and horizontal ] is really messy when doing it parallel with each other. However, when doing a, lets say vertical cateye with a horizontal 'CAP' I find that its much easier. However, transitioning is another matter all together lol. Needless to say, I didn't actually pull it off in this video because the parallel version I find is much...weirder. Another thing that I had been talking about for a little while was the 'CAP' vs Antispin Flower deal. It's not as clean as I would want it to be, but everytime you 'CAP' you have the chance to go into BF Antispin flower or Triquetra. However, if you just maintain 1 poi constantly doing antispin and the other doing 'CAP' the arm motions sorta remind me of some Double Staff movements.

Lovebattallion: Thanks for sharing! I have been looking at a lot of the same stuff lately, especially the antispin cap flowers and unfolding antispins with plane bending. I pretty much put the pentagons and pentagrams on the shelf a while back since I found it hard to flow nicely with them as they take lots of time and required more timing than I had. Maybe it's time to go after them. :)
Lovebattallion: One thing that opened up a lot for me was to get more generous with the plane bending in pendulums. I see the the pendulum as a sphere with a quarter of it cut out. Since we view it perpendicular to the axis one half circle appears to be a straight line. That would be the straight stally motion on top. This also enables up side down pendulums and all kinds of options to mesh different categories of hybrids. It is also way easier than multi point antispin unfolding.
Insignia: Alot of the Polygons are still sitting on the shelf, lol. But, we gotta start taking them off one at a time and at least fully develop a sense of motion for each of them in 2D. We know them, but then when we start taking the fractional approach to them, everything begins to shift slightly. There is still so much to be done lol.
Insignia: Have you tried a pendulum in ceiling plane? Or attempted flipping a pendulum upside down? However, I am all for the meshing of all these different methods we have to spin a circle and to augment that shape and hopefully end up at drastically different elucidations that will push deeper into the rabbit hole :D
