fair7deal: Do you say only Tamil lives lost in Sri Lanka as a result of war? We must value all lives irrespective of our demographic differences. I completely deny the fact, that Sri Lankan Government or Sinhalees are using the war to wipe out Tamils from the island. It is just a mith to influence hatred. The war is against LTTE terrorists and not against Tamils. No government in the world would tollerate an organisation with weapons, who try to challenge the soveranity of the nation.

fair7deal: If you funded LTTE to buy weapons, why do you concern about war victims? You must know by now, LTTE is famous as a guerilla terrorist organisation. Guerilla is all about fighting among the civilians. If you go through YouTube clips, there are so many videos relating LTTE Guerilla Tactics.

taravindan03: Dear Fair7deal There are lot of issues I don't agree with ltte, But from my own experience I saw many innocent people killed by SLArmy.we were the victims of 1983 july riots. My dads 25 years of earning lost in 1983. my uncle murdered. No one brought to justice. Then we moved to Jaffna. Where I witnessed so many killings. I saw ltte killed their chosen target, but SLArmy killed randomly. They could kill Innocent tamils when ever they wanted. It occurred mostly after ltte guerilla attack.

fair7deal: I understand and I am sorry for your losses. I remember 1983 july riots in Colombo, and I was returning from school. I did not see any ordinary sinhalees killing tamils. We risked our lives to save many innocent tamils. Even my school was a refugee camp, and we helped with food and clothes. So far, I never heard a thank you, my friend. My relatives were also victimed in Kekirawa LTTE attack. We must ignore extremists in all parties, and must work towards a better Sri Lanka.

fair7deal: Your comment "There are lot of issues I don't agree with ltte" reminds me, one of my Tamil friends, who was originally from Punkudathive island said, that when Tamils speak to Tamils, most disagree with LTTE, but when Thana speak to Siina, LTTE become the god. Same as sinhalees disagreed with JVP when they used weapons. It is natural. We all need leaders to to give voice for us, but we all hate violence. We are more intelligent than that. fair7deal: I partly agree with your answer, my friend. I agree with anyone who terrorise, slaughter, kill, and/or murder civilians must be brought to justice. LTTE is banned around the world as an international guerrilla terrorist organisation, because of their actions. The world respects Sri Lankan government with the red carpet, because the world have global knowledge and experience in international politics, as well as terrorism.

fair7deal: If you are a Sri Lankan, you have the right to vote to select a government. You also have the right and freedom to disagree with governments actions within a legal framework. Remember, because you are part of Sri Lankan government, you too are responsible for the governments actions, where the government is accountable (answerable) to you.

fair7deal: The son of Sir Solomon Dias Bandaranike, former PM S.W.R.D. Bandaranayake (Official Language act) had an Anglican Christian background. His daughter was former President Chandrika Bandaranayake. Even former PM Ranil Wickramasighe and his uncle Junius Richard Jayewardene (83 riots) were Christians by birth. They were the rulers of Sri Lanka, after British Independence. Why Tamils ignore Christian involvement, when protesting against discrimination? It is a fair question to ask.
