古川ちょうさ Furukawa Chosa--Autumn harvest festival Video

This is the traditional annual autumn harvest festival in Furukawa-Cho, Kanonji, Japan. Local citizens parade these floats around the neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods for 2 days from early morning until late at night. As they go buy peoples houses, residents offer "hana" which means "flower" in Japanese. In lieu of flowers, people give a small amount of money in a ceremonial envelope.
