Character Info:

Nick Jonas- He is apart of the Jonas Brothers and they are famous. Hes the only one of his brothers still in school but all of the kids at school are used to him.

Haley Collins- Shes 16 and shes got a BIG secret, but thats all Im going to say, youll find out more as you read on.

[Haleys POV]

I laid on my bed and watched my ceiling fan turn. My phone vibrated and I picked it up off of my side table. I glanced at the name on the screen and sighed. Hello?

Hey baby. Johns voice rang through the speaker.

John. We need to talk. I spoke quietly. I heard his breathing become deeper. What is it. He said, his tone of voice had changed completely.

John. I. . . I began but my mother came through my door. I have to go. I quickly hung up my phone and put it under my pillow.

What is this? She exclaimed holding up the box.

A. . . uhmm. I stuttered trying to find out something to say.

HALEY MARIE COLLINS! She walked toward me quickly. ARE YOU PREGNANT?

At that last word I busted into tears. I felt her hand grab my arm. YOU HAVE 1 WEEK TO FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO LIVE! I CANT AFFORD ALL OF YOU! She threw me back on my bed and stormed out of my room.

[The Next day]

I stood at my locker looking for John, but there was no sign of him. I decided to call him; Hello He answered his voice wasnt the same.

John! Where are you?

At home.

Why arent you here? I asked.

Haley, your mom called me. I immediately new what he was saying.

John, please. I begged.

I cant be a father! Im only 17

And you think I want to be a mother?! I didnt yell it, but I made myself clear.

Im sorry Haley. The phone went dead. My entire body went numb as I dropped my phone and fell to the floor, burying my head in my knees. I was in this alone. I had no place to go and all I wanted to do was die.

I felt someones presence next to me and looked up to find Nick Jonas sitting next to me.

You know, I really dont like seeing people cry He told me.

Im sorry. I apologized.

Why dont you tell me why your crying.

Id rather not.

I can respect that. He told me and handed me my phone. You dropped this.

I smiled a bit. Thanks.

What do you say we go somewhere to eat. You look like you need to get out of here.

What about school?

I wont tell if you dont He smiled a crooked grin and offered his hand to help me up. I got up with him and pushed my books in my locker before following him down the hall and out the front doors.
