Are they going to make pilots take flights in icy conditions in the additional 1,000 hours. Do we have a record that increasing flight time by 1,000 hours will have any impact on safety? We know it will reduce the number of pilots able to make it for jobs, so less jobs. We know it will increase the cost of travels and restrict options. We do not know if it can improve safety. Holt a self professed scientist would know that proof is in studies. Jerk knee legislation only is a way to put a badge on oneself. Some scientists do have that propensity.
