Even with it's flaws, the EA servers, the headset glitch, Battlefield 1943 - for what it is - is still worth the $14.99, it's almost sad that EA managed to salvage and defend a title by pricing it accordingly. Conversely, I'd pay $1.99 for a patch that fixed the headset bug, that's even sadder still. This game would actually be a blast with communication, and if only more of my console buddies were up on PC enough to know about Ventrilo, the problem would be solved =(

Battlefield 1943 is a multiplatform first person shooter made by developer Electronic Arts for Playstation3 and Red Ring of Death 360, available (to the best of my knowledge) as DLC only for only $14.99usd. A1R5N1P3R, while playing EA's Battlefield 1943 on A1R5N1P3R's Sony Playstation3, filmed this gameplay footage off of A1R5N1P3R's Toshiba 37" HD LCD TV, using A1R5N1P3R's Sony HDR-XR100 Handycam. Ea (Electronic Arts), Toshiba and Sony all own the rights to their respective trademarks. nolatare: Seems to me you got some serious lag there. That would be caused by your connection to the game. Other than that, 1943 is an awesome game... Especially the airplanes lmao.

A1R5N1P3R: I think it has more to do with how EA hosts matches, my ping is between 90-130. Plane controls in BF1943 are a bit bleh, but it is an awesome game for $15.

A1R5N1P3R: Well, I think there's only 3 maps for it, a nice small title, not a huge community. Some technical issues, that I'm even willing to overlook because it plays so well. But if it hasn't popped up for PC yet, I doubt it will. But keep checking =(

A1R5N1P3R: @ACHelghast It does, and it rocks, but EA is sht and got the headset volume wrong, and never patched it properly =/

xXDalloXx: this game is ace... If your on the ground and a plane goes over you it sounds mint!
