LYRICS
Verse 1
just another normal day is how these stories all start
did her moms a favor made a late trip to Walmart
lil cuz save her place in line
she ain't wanna waste her time
she didn't think they would mind
so much she'd have to face a crime
she tried to explain why and
they claimed she was lying
her change they denied it
they were so racist minded
they called the police like a beast had emerged
but the only peace that was disturbed was hers
no criminal record in college to be a doctor
but she was just a nigger to these ignorant coppers
they gripped her lifted her off her feet and dropped her
head first on the car hand cuffed her and locked her
And to the shock of her family and the witnesses
she was charged with assaulting police and resiting them
the difference when you black just the claim that ya yellin
can turn a preacher's daughter to a dangerous felon
so I tell em
Verse 2
So much fun she had at the homecoming dance
930 she got to leave to get a ride from her dad
saw a friend runnin past he asked her come and grab
a little something that would last the party's jumpin in the back
she laughed this was her chance to hang with the cool kids
the older guys ones she didn't even go to school with
but the rule is to never drink with strangers
I wish that I was there so I could tell her she's in danger
that those who she thought were good fellas would sedate her
beat her and gang rape her and they would forever change her
with hatred and anger for 2 and a half hours
they brutalized her worse than pouring acid on a flower
the madness empowered by a mob so heartless
they watched and took pictures as she sobbed in the darkness
even if there arrested and they all get charges
how can they understand right and wrong with no conscious
when you're a target
Verse 3
Little girl with all kinda a goals
author on the honor roll
but pain was behind her soul
cause what she would find at home
mom high in a zone
Dad said bye he gone
Grown men tryin to bone
They wonder why she violent prone
at age 13 this n*gga pimp took her innocence
Finished it told her she's his ho go get his chips
or he would hit her quick backhands split her lip
had plans to slit her wrists
can you imagine living this?
giving this pimp 3 years of ya life
just to live one day without fear would you fight?
so she killed this monster who had no right livin
and at age 16 her sentence was life in prison
then I look into the eyes of my daughter
like how can I describe the horror that lies before her
times shorter and tellin lies is the order
plus we shut our eyes to lullabies from the cries of the tortured
you ought ta
IBeatUpThugs: There's your source. Tell me the department of justice is lying. Y'all have a million excuses for everything. Anyway. Here's another black man telling sob stories, but doing nothing. Black people play for sympathy all day but never just stop committing crime, get jobs and raise their family. Too busy trying to be ballers and pimps and players. It's really old. And this guy here is another black man trying to advance his useless rap career by exploiting tragedies. I hope he gets hit by a bus.
IBeatUpThugs: Lol @ negative sides to hip hop. Hip hop is 99% negative. And 1% positive. Face facts. Porn is what it is, it's not mainstream culture like hip hop his. They don't play porn on the radio for 9 year old kids to listen to. I can turn on a rap station right now and here song after song about men degrading women, killing people and selling drugs as if it's casual every day behavior and no big thing. Porn is horrible, but NO form of media is anywhere near as disgusting as rap music.
19BlackWatch87: Jasiri X is that Deal!!! This is the Truth...I can't wait to get a Mix CD of these Revolutionary Songs at the FAM Re-union!! SD2010. You judge a Man by the fruit he produces....I'm glad I got that "X"
billydu2u: there's no reason for u to belittle this man or question his motives. there's nothing to be known about u, except u claim to beat up thugs. u would have me believe that mugs just drop their piece and allow u to whip their ass. u just keep livin in your dreamworld, and stay out of mine. my reality, on the other hand, is jasirix and paradise do make a difference.
IBeatUpThugs: Drop their piece? Thugs are weak. That's why they run around in gangs and with guns. They are easy to beat up when you are not a coward. I see in Jasiri's profile a video of him praising bigot Farrakhan. He is another immature easily manipulated black man used by NOI to spread racial paranoia that leads to violence against Jews and whites. You clowns talking about revolutions are dangerous psychopaths. Your only revolution should be to get jobs and grow up. Anything else you're saying is BS.
billydu2u: the only thing U beat is your own meat. you've never been to the dark side. you've never looked in a mug's eyes and seen nothin lookin back. U R clueless, and act like U can handle a young thug that would have U licking his pit bull's ass and wimpering like a sissy. gimmee a break!
IBeatUpThugs: Blah blah blah. Another black man telling fairy tales. Been to the darkside? You've been watching too many movies. I've been broker, hungrier and more frustrated than your simple frame could tolerate. That's why I know a video like this is nonsense, and you think it's some deep truth. You can't walk in my shoes pussy. And yeah I beat up thugs in real life, they kiss my ass in person, come find out. Thugs are nothing more than latent homosexuals, trying to look hard for one another.
billydu2u: OK - i'll "come find out" as you say. now you must put up, or shut up. u just gave me an invite, and i'll be waiting.
IBeatUpThugs: Sure thing. I'm in Texas. Send me a message and I'll let you know where to find me. You won't show up though. I can tell just from your comments that you're weak and insecure. "You never been to the darkside, looked in a mug's eyes and seen nuthin staring back" haha. I can't imagine someone saying that to me in real life, other than a 13 year old kid who just watched boys in da hood. I'll be waiting for your message, just let me know when and where you want your beating, computer thug.
lisoulja1: What people define as hip hop is not 99% negative. The fact that there is negativity is undisputable but not unique; what irritates most is the allure and influence of "hip hop music" to and through so many. Many of us want to be able to stop all of these ills, not remembering that wrong is only a step away for ourselves. We don't reach positivity by basking in the negativity. Argument leads to anger ... then truth can never come out. Just because we have a clue doesn't mean that we know.
empressblk2408: i dont no what ya talking about but that video was good i understand.
hornybo: Clearly you do not appreciate hip hop culturally, so 1) why don't you direct your attention towards something of value to you and try to enhance that domain? 2) if you think that porn is not mainstream because 9 year old kids don't listen to it you are naive, silly, or not serious. 3) you hate hip hop and you think porn is horrible, but you appear to consider yourself well acquainted with both. Good luck!
SpockOfRock: Nauseating...
IBeatUpThugs: Hip hop is uniquely negative. No other form of "entertainment" has so aggressively embraced all of the worst aspects of humanity. The most horrible aspect of it is that the immorality of it has become so mainstream and common especially among youth. Rock music is also bad, but hip hop is far worse. No one will get anywhere emulating ignorant rappers. Rappers are mentally ill and leading their fans down a path of destruction. But just like a drug addict they will defend their dope no matter what.
glitterling1: I think everyone needs to calm down.
lisoulja1: ... "uniquely negative" is an almost unfair statement. It sounds like you are saying that hip hop is to blame for society's ills. Yes, many minds are influenced by hip hop. Yes you can say that rappers are leading fans down a path of destruction. To single rappers out in this responsibility is just not fair, however. Condemnation rarely helps to revert people's actions. It takes more personal conviction. Even then, there is never a guarantee that things will turn around.
Livesparrk: Richardson is mostly poor Hispanic. Who is the message in this video aimed at~ the unsupervised teens or urban influences? No? It's easy to blame but harder to admit that we, all of us, played a part in this crime. Schools, parents, spiritual leaders, government and the entertainment industry all influenced these teenagers. Maybe the next video should be about what WE going to do to make a difference in their lives? L.M. Hardy, RN
IBeatUpThugs: You can debate all day what is worse than hip hop. It's one of the biggest influences on youth's views of society and their own selves, often more than their parents. If a grown man makes millions of dollars brainwashing kids and promoting pimping, drug-dealing, and gang culture, he is an evil person. If you have any confusion over something so simple you are in severe spiritual crisis. By defending or endorsing them even in a minor way, you align yourself with them, and assume responsibility.
OneHOODWebTV: You statement is NULL AND VOID. The fact is that once the corporations took over the production and marking of commercial Hip-hop/Rap, they have bastardized the true art-form and are responsible for it's content, the tone, direction, image and lyrics are sponsored by large corporations period. Do they give 30 Million dollar deals to groups like: Public Enemy, A Trice Called Quest, Rakim, Mos Def, Talib Kweli? They are always looking to fund the next young grezzy, lil grimey, young sleazy
lisoulja1: I'd rather rate/judge the actions more than the people themselves. We are all in a spiritual crisis. Tell me where does evil comes from. We can uplift and berate a person for the good and the wrong that they do. Of course, we don't like the fact that "good" people do bad things. We call that hypocrisy; instead of admonishing, we'd rather [negatively] criticize the person. I assume if they are on the wrong path, then they are limited to being wrong for life. [cont'd...]
lisoulja1: I understand your fervor completely. There IS no defense for promoting wrongdoing. Our lives are driven by the decisions we make, whether of our own will or not {the spiritual issue}. You have plenty trying to do good things through hip hop. We have to continue to encourage that good. I don't like seeing high school crack & heroine addicts, teens and tweens lost to gangs, etc. These have all been influenced and spread by music, but not started by music or artists. It's beyond the human.
amd6425: There are no white on black rapes? False. And a comment to the rest of your comments, you don't know this man. He DOES have a job. He works hard and he IS making a difference. You complained about rap music being violent and corrupt. But here is a man rapping about real things. You should be pleased with this. But you aren't! Have you ever listened to real hip-hop? You talk about what is played on the radio. Believe it not, that is not all hip hop. Do some research.
asia216able: this song made me cry
hnybear385: OK why are we arguing about music?! The focus here are these young girls getting mistreated by the so - called justice system...
timmybloc: i thank god that rappers like this still excist !!! thanxs brotha !! one love homey!!
