translocator Videos

Well folks, I don't know anyone else who's achieved it but this is a multi-kill (3 people) death by translocation. In UT2004 terms that means you can use your translocator as a weapon by throwing the disc at someone then 2ndary beaming to it. If you time it right you can get a kill. I'd say chances of getting 3 kills in one go is rare enough that I haven't heard of anyone else getting one in my 8 year's of playing UT* Enjoy

Using the translocator and impact hammer in unconventional ways I would bring the server to it's knees. People really hated me back then! I had a blast! (literally!)

I was playing Last Man Standing on a LAN til all that was left was me and a bot. After scouring the map "Crane" over and over (and killing myself a few times xd) I eventually went down to the ground, bypassing the death trigger with a translocator... and guess who I found...

Sunday, September 27, 2009. Was going for Raptor run, jumpslash gets pwned so I hid somewhere, a deemer pasts by me without seeing me, then jumpslash comes back with the Raptor and pushes me into this unknown place. Can't get out, can't hoverboard, it was in the last 50 seconds of the game, so I was there, as you can ass you can't exit anywhere, would be nice if there was a translocator LO L.

Unreal Tournament (UT99) Beta Gameplay Some footage of the Beta version of Epic's.....Epic game, Unreal Tournament. This video demonstrates some features from the beta that were either editied for the final version of UT, or removed entirely. The pulse gun has a different texture and also uses a reloading animation. (Absent in the final) The enforcers use the Automag shot sounds and a reloading animation is used (present in the final, but removed from the code). Shock rifle is waaaay overpowered (2 primary shots and BOOM) and the shock combo is a bit...bleh. Impact hammer charge sound is slightly different. Translocator mesh is slightly different and the module actually sticks to players! The redeemer has a different texture and the rocket has a different mesh. The 'Deemer explosion is also a weird Blue colour, instead of the yellow/orange explosion seen in the final. Bio-Rifle projectile texture is a very dark shade of green and not translucent, like in the final. The Ripper fire...

First team deathmatch between the Command and Conquerers, set in a really nifty custom map called Chemical Factory. It's a large map and I don't have enough bots for constant action, but it's still fun. For some reason, I get these odd glitches now and again that I think are attributed to the Relic of Strength. Weapons disappear, I even somehow picked up Ripper ammo from nowhere. It's not a huge deal when it actually leaves you with a weapon, it just sometimes strips you of absolutely everything. I miss my Translocator...
