1/19/09 Day 4 Inka Trail, Sun Gate
WOOT! We wake up at 4am to get in line at the checkpoint to enter the final section of the hike into Macchu Pichu. After a hour of hiking, we reach the Sun Gate that overlooks the Inka city. We were extremely lucky and fortunate to have no rain and no cloud coverage. A sight to see, we anxiously hike down to the city to take a closer look!
