NORTH SAANICH - A young driver is set to appear in court in the new year after crash on West Saanich road. Police are recommending a number of charges after the 18 year-old flipped his car and crashed into a telephone pole Sunday morning. The man was taken to hospital following the crash, but moments earlier officers had their guns drawn and trained on the vehicle.
