The proplem was intermitent , broken solder joints on the DIN socket ( sync in ) , so you press RUN the led work , the tempo does change the rate , but no SOUND . Hmm! not easy to find for an unexperienced pseudo tech like me ,,, Man i am stupid ! I should have kept my job at Mc donald . Just kidding , but it is anoying when things are kept as a secret . Then yours to discover. ANd to deal with !

Here's a video comparing my original TB-303 to the self-sourced x0xb0x I built. The TB is on the left channel, the x0x on the right. Saw wave from 0:00-3:00; square wave from 3:00-6:00.
