Beware of the Sony KDL-46XBR4. Bought this 46" LCD in Jul 08. In Mar 09 had the panel replaced because the T-Con board went out. My warranty expired in Jul 09. In Dec 09 the symptoms started again and on New Years eve I had the Sony repair guy come out and diagnose the same problem, bad T-Con and needs the entire panel replaced. Cost is about $1200. In the process of working with Sony to get the issue resolved. There are forums filled with people with the same problem with this TV....
