Autocross at Columbus Motor Speedway run by the United Ford Owners club (thanks guys!) on 29AUG2009. This was my first run on the track for the day. The Hoosier rubber is nice when it gets warmed up.. but the first few turns always seem to plow through rather than hook up. Once they get hot they are nice and sticky though, ;). Autocross at Columbus Motor Speedway run by the United Ford Owners club (Thanks guys!) on 29AUG2009. This was my fastest lap of the day. This was the best time in my class and the 2nd fastest time of the day. (Got beaten by a Mini Cooper S by 0.03 seconds!) Other than the tires and removing the air box cover, the car is completely stock. I was having trouble getting heat into the Hoosier race rubber all day because the weather was cool and cloudy. Auto-x on 19JUL2009 with the new car.. stock 2006 Honda S2000. The auto-x was run by the United Ford Owners (UFO) club and the course was set up at Columbus Motor Speedway in southern Columbus, Ohio. I'm getting better, but the S still has far more capability than I do! Just need some more practice..
