Lufia and its sequel Lufia II (or prequel as the case may be) are two of my all-time favorite RPGs on the SNES... next to Final Fantasy 2 & 3 of course. Both games had a great balance of puzzle solving and RPG elements. And their soundtracks are excellent as well. The overworld theme of Lufia and the Fortress of Doom is one of my favorite tracks.
