A gun battle between a suspected IRA splinter group and the PSNI took place at the town of Garrisson in Fermanagh today. Police returned fire in the attempted ambush. Four men have been arrested in connection with the attack. There has also been an attempted carbomb attack on Police HQ in Belfast.
