So I think I've reached a decent point for this lava, until I find a way to warp 3d textures, curve, them etc then I have no way to make this follow a bend in "river" or flow around rocks etc. I've added some depth of field, slowed the hotter stuff down alot more, and threw in some heatwaves. Comment and critique! Thanks
