Dave Parkinson on SCTV in 1982
At age 13, I snuck into the crowd of Extras gathered at the old Golden Mile Plaza in Toronto where SCTV was making "The Towering Inferno" episode for their Friday night show on NBC in the USA and CBC in Canada that Aired on December 10, 1982. I'm the kid on the right jumping when the reactor is about to shoot off the top of the building as the firefighters pull back on the rope... My 1st international TV appearance at age 13 on SCTV, Friday, December 10, 1982.
