ok so that;s how i get my canary used to different foods,at first when i got him he waz about 2-3 months old, (now he;s about 1 and a half) he was a total seed junkie,and i think when he was smaller he got hand fed, bcuz when u hold him and place ur both fingers at his beak he opens it straight away.Anyway! Now he eats : Greens: Kale,radish, carrot tops, dandelion greens (make sure they haven't been sprayed or collected near a roadway) and just about any other leafy green veggie. Veggies: Carrots, peas, corn, radishes, bell pepper, broccoli, green beans, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower. Grains: Steamed rice (white, brown, wild) cooked pasta, whole wheat and multi-grain bread, and grains (quinoa, amaranth, millet, teff, kamut, spelt), oatmeal, all natural cereal. Proteins: Raw sunflower seed (small amounts) Fruit: Apples (seeds removed), peaches, bananas(sometimes), melons,oranges, strawberries, plums, pears, berries, nectarines. (remember to remove all pits from fruit.)

Hi, I am pleased to be uploading a new fun dried food video, featuring nectarines! They are so delicious I had to buy 2 bushels! I first cleaned them all in a tub of cold water. I then used my mandolin slicer to make round and rectangle slices. Then I placed them on my Excalibur 2900 trays. I set the temperature to 135 degrees, which is just right for fruits.
