mx-5 Treffen am Celler Schloss 2009

Wie auch 2007 haben wir, der mx-5 Club Celle, ein Treffen am Celler Schloss organisiert. Nach Klönsnack und Führung durch das Schloss ging es auf eine Tour rund um den Truppenübungsplatz Bergen (ca. 150 Km) und Abends mit den verbliebenem Rest zum Essen zurück nach Celle.

MX-5 at Wakefield Park on 6th December 2009

Another MX-5 Club track day and the combination of slow traffic in the first three sessions and hot conditions thereafter meant that the best I could manage was a 1:18.11 lap in my stock NA6A. This time around I left the hardtop at home and drove with the soft-top down, just as an experiment. Later on I also tried a couple sessions with the soft-top raised and the difference was an extra 1.5km/hr at the end of the main straight. However, the Vmax with the soft-top raised was still 1.5km/hr ...
