The Harz Mountain Railway is a all-season, regular Steam Railway Company. Railway Network: 140 KM ( 87 Miles). Motor Pool: inter alia Mallet Steam Locomotives, built by the Prussian Schwartzkopff Company, est. 1852. End of Locomotive production: 1945. The Harz Mountain forest (2.226 unit square kilometers) is a low mountain range at the intersection of the 3 States Thuringia, Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.
