It was the day we were waiting for. Woke up to about 20cm of fresh snow and it continued to snow most of the day. I went up about 1pm and met up with a number of locals who know how to turn the boards. Top part was especially great. You could blast through the bumps and no problem with edging or speed. "No Friends on Powder days" but it was great skiing with friends today. If nothing else you needed someone to dig you out.

Two locals are seen around Hershey with Conrail power. First, we catch H33 switching the PACMA mill in Palmyra with a pair of ex-CR GP38-2s, the latter of which still wearing blue. Next, we see H24 returning from work at Reese's with Conrail-painted GP38-2 5259. As a bonus, the Hershey caboose is present for this move.
