Porky's Poultry Plant - Released August 22, 1936 - Carl Stalling, who previously wrote scores for Ub Iwerks' cartoons, including the Disney and Flip the Frog shorts, signs here his first score at Leon Schlesinger Studios, and would stay for over 20 years at Warner Bros. Studios. This also marks Frank Tashlin's debuts as a cartoon director, coming back to Schlesinger a few years after having written gags for Ub Iwerks and published his "Van Boring" comic series.
