Beautiful song, learnt a lot about Traditional Irish music whilst playing in Irish band 'Shoot the Crow' (check them out if your in Cornwall/Devon, great band). It's set during the Great Irish Famine about a guy who has been sentenced to transportation to Botany Bay, Australia, for stealing food for his starving family.
