Oddly enough, I had no idea my videocamera was capable of having objects 1mm away from the lens and still be clearly visible. If I would have known this sooner, I could have taken some great footage of insects. It's winter now, so bah humbug! (pun intended)

Sting prevention: Don't get closer to a colony than 3 metres (9 ft.)! And what is more important avoid blocking their flight path and slapping against these insects. One sting does cause pain no longer than a sleepless night lasts. So theres enough time cooling the area around the sting to get a wonderful and completely unique experience.
