Practiced this song for the first time this morning. Considering she has never heard it before, she picked up the syncopation fairly quickly. For some reason, quarter notes on the hi-hat are much harder for her than eighth notes. I wonder if this is true for all begining drummers.

A snowy day here in Md, brought on a mellow mood. Finally got the v-drums up and running in our new apartment. I hope you enjoy! I'm still experimenting with the camera angles so sorry for the obstructed view during the hi-hat parts but you can clearly see tom fills and ride cymbal parts.

Between The Buried And Me- Mirrors I use doubles on the hi-hat for the beat at :51. I just like the way it feels with doubles instead of the singles, just a personal preference.
