Unfortunately I chose this week to create my video BEFORE watching Lylynn's and Colleen's. I must note that Colleen's threat is silly and we will beat her in the decorating challenge. Maybe we will document the event and post it on Sunday. Also, I kind of wish I didn't pick this topic. I had an even better one in mind that I guess I'll just have to save for next time!

This clip focuses on my grandfather, George Un's experience of immigrating to New York City from Vienna, Austria in 1934, when he was ten years old. His family was Jewish (secular) and started to fear for their safety due to the rise of Hitler and widespread antisemitism in Eastern Europe.

Sorry guys. This week was really short but is still a long video, somehow. Today I worked until 6:30pm, drove out to the country to have dinner at my grandparents', then came back out this way to my parent's place, where they'd had dinner for my family's closest friends (who have just arrived home after travelling for a year).
