Traveling Western Iceland April 2009 (Bach)
Iceland is formed by fire and ice and shows a rough and secluded landscape. Livid green valleys and colorful mountains with shining white galaciers under a crystal clear sky are forming Icelands landscape. Hot springs, geysers and tremendous waterfalls are typical geological features of the island. It's an overwhelming experience traveling the home of Björk an all the other friendly "vikings".

Grant's Mudpots, Lower Geyser Basin, Yellowstone National Park
These mudpots do not have an official name. I have named them after Grant Petersen, a student at BYU-Idaho (Rexburg, Idaho), who discovered them. These mudpots are directly adjacent to Imperial Geyser, which is 1/2 mile north of Fairy Falls in Yellowstone National Park.
