Statue of Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Park Unveiled On Wednesday 4th November At 1600hrs. This is a 'temporary' statue and will be on the 'fourth plinth' for six months. A 'permanent' statue will be unveiled in Waterloo Place, London on 15th September 2010 - the 70th Anniversary of the 'Battle of Britain'.

Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Park, who led the Royal Air Force (RAF) forces over London and the South East of England throughout the Battle of Britain, is here on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square - London England The statue, presented by the Sir Keith Park Memorial Campaign will be in place for six months and a permanent memorial statue of Park will then be unveiled in Waterloo Place on the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain on 15 September 2010
