The Tesselata eel grows quite large, but does well in aquariums. This is a smaller one, but don't get too close! Customers tell us that their tesselatas have grabbed a number of unsuspecting fish.

Feeding the Eels.MOV
This short clip shows two eels feeding. One is a medium sized zebra moray eel, about 2.5 feet long. The other is a much smaller snowflake eel. These eels are in a tank together at Ultimate Aquariums, a small fish and reef store in Roanoke, Virginia. They are feeding n bits of mysis shrimp.
