BNSF Hodgkins, IL. 01-07-09 Part 1
We got close to 9 inches of snow in the Chicago area today so, I went out to see what I could on the BNSF Transcon. Some light power is seen then a teanfer run returning from the BRC via the IHB. and then an eastbound freight headed to the IHB connection with a westbound NS stack train passing behind it.

The Rockville bridge
October of 1974, as we catch an eastbound at Roberts Valley Rd. Rockville, PA. About to cross the Rockville bridge. Than we cross the Susquehanna river to the Marysville side to catch a westbound. T-38 Talon Flyby via Truck Convoy Pasadena, CA Jan, 2010
We watched these T-38s cruise through Pasadena at about 9:30pm in quite a convoy. We were on the Marengo St overpass, filming toward the west watching the traffic come out of the eastbound tunnels under the 134 interchange. First, the CHP did a traffic stop on the traffic headed East on the 134. Then cars with flashing lights started coming out of the tunnels. There were 4 scout cars (one in front and one behind each of the two trucks) and at least 4 CHP cars. Not slow. They were going 55 ...

I caught BNSF's eastbound V-SDGCLO departing San Diego, CA on 12/28/09 with 2 rare suprises, an ES44AC and an SD70ACE!!!!! Engines are a BNSF ES44AC (couldn't get the number), a BNSF ES44DC #7203, a BNSF SD70ACE #9310, and a BNSF Dash-9 #5179.

Deadly I-80 Crash Remains Under Investigation
night. The crash happened around 9 pm near the Clintonville exit. According to state police, a westbound tractor-trailer and SUV both lost control and crossed over the median into the eastbound lanes. The tractor-trailer then struck and flipped onto a mini-van, which was heading eastbound. The driver of the SUV, 66-year-old Thomas Munsell, of Michigan, died in the crash.
