I adore this pairing from Dynasty warriors 3 all the way to Warriors Orochi 2. I find it really sweet that when you defeat Diao Chan, Lu Bu comes charging at you intent on destorying you. Kind of a sad little tribute to Diao Chan and Lu Bu when Lu Bu dies. I think the story is pretty clear.
