So, I asked dprjones why he puts a quote from the President of the Confederate States of America in his video AT THE SAME MOMENT he claims Jesus was pro-slavery. Instead of answering the question he gives a quote from Jesus MENTIONING slavery (in a parable) but not CONDONING it. Actually the strawman fallacy is applicable here as well. Dprjones skirts the issue away from the effectiveness of the death penalty as a deterrent, which was obviously the point Kassie was making, to strictly whether or not states with the death penalty had lower murder rates.
