This afternoon units from the Dothan Fire Department responded to a wreck on East Main and Beverlye. Five people were taken to the hospital by Care Ambulance. Dothan Police had to shut down the West bound lanes of the intersection. State DOT came out and put sand down do to help with oil and slickness of the intersection. Dothan Police Traffic Division are conducting the investigation into the cause of the wreck.

Dothan Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire in the 3000 block of South Lena Street. Multiple engine companies responded as well as a Battalion Chief and a truck company. When the First engine arrived on scene they reported heavy smoke coming from the structure and began pull hoses to go inside and put the fire out.
